Descriptions
Distributes financial assistance to families with children diagnosed with cancer seeking medical treatment. Provides transportation assistance fund mileage, airfare, and lodging near the hospital for treatment. Offers emergency assistance fund towards mortgage, rent, utilities, childcare, insurance, or car expenses.
Eligibility
Families of children (birth-18 years) with cancer
Child must have been diagnosed on or before his/her 18th birthday and treated before his/her 21st birthday.
Adults who relapse after their 18th birthday and who were not previously assisted are not eligible for services.
Guardian applying for assistance must have less than $5,000 in easily accessible bank accounts (such as checking and savings).
