Description
Offers specialized telephone equipment and network services to California residents who have difficulty using a standard telephone. Equipment includes:
- Amplified phones
- Big button phones
- Phones with lights that flash for incoming calls
- Portable phones
Eligibility
California resident with difficulty seeing, hearing, speaking, remembering, or moving. Must live in a household with telephone service.
Application Process
Visit website, mail, or fax completed application. Application can be obtained from the internet or over the phone, and have an authorized medical professional sign to certify the disability. If mailing application, it can be sent to: State of California CTAP Contact Center, PO Box 30310, Stockton, CA 95213
