Program: AIDS DRUG ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (ADAP)

Agency: CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH (CDPH)

Description

Assists with paying the prescription costs for medications for individuals with HIV/AIDS. Also assists with monthly health insurance premiums for clients. Also offers free, at home HIV tests. Visit the Take Me Home website for more information.

Eligibility

Individuals who are 18 years or older, diagnosed with HIV or AIDS, not be fully covered by Medi-Cal or any other third party payers, and a resident of California. Also have a modified adjusted gross income that does not exceed 500% Federal Poverty Level based on household size and income.
