Description
Offers early intervention services for families and caregivers who have concern about the development of a child (under age 3). Concerns may include delays in communication, motor, problem-solving, social, or cognitive skills.
Children may receive a developmental assessment to determine child's needs. Services are tailored to each child based on level of delay experienced, which may include:
. Case management
. Physical, occupational, or speech therapy
. Behavior services
Note: Refer to First 5 Neighborhood for Learning for developmental screenings for children 3-5 years old.
Eligibility
Anyone may refer a child who is under 3 years old and is suspected of having a developmental delay.
