Description
Offers a foster care program for the animals living in a domestic violence situation to enable individuals to leave sooner. The program is anonymous to protect the safety of the individuals involved.
An Animal Control Officer is dispatched to pick up the pet, so the individual or family involved can be taken to safety. In some cases, a family member may bring the pet directly to the Animal Shelter for temporary care while the victim gets their life back in order.
