Description
Provides support services to victims of child physical and sexual abuse and to adult victims of sexual assault. Victim advocates and rape crisis counselors provide crisis intervention and support. Also offers referrals for counseling, including in the centers' counseling rooms.
Law enforcement, Children and Family Services, prosecutors, forensic nurse examiners, crisis counselors, and advocates conduct interviews and exams to provide support for victims and their families.
Eligibility
Must be a child victim of physical or sexual abuse or be an adult victim of sexual assault.
Clients of all ages must be referred by law enforcement or Children and Family Services.
