Description
Provides 355 low-income housing units for County eligible families and individuals. Units are owned, managed and maintained by the Area Housing Authority. Rent is 30% of the household income.
Eligibility
Must be at or below the household income limits (provided on website)
Must pass a criminal background investigation (both local and nationwide).
Must have verifiable income information.
Application Process
Apply online. Applications accepted infrequently. If we are not accepting new applicants, the application link will be removed from the website. Sign-up for email notifications at www.ahacv.org to be notified when applications are available
Documents
-Birth certificates for all family members -Social Security Card for all family members -Driver's License or ID Card for all family members 18 years of age or older -Completed Declaration of Eligibility for Assisted Housing (214 Form) for each family member. -Copy of Alien Registration Card (front and back) if applicable -Authorization for Release of Information signed by all family members 18 years of age and older -Authorization form to Obtain Records signed by all family member 18 years of age and older -Current proof of residency (lease, utility bill, income verification, driver's license, ID, or bank statement) -Current income verification
Fees
No fee to apply. Client will pay 30% of their household income for rent on a monthly basis.
