Description
General transit services include:
- Moorpark Transit - Local fixed route bus for general transportation. Currently, there are two bus route services, which operate Monday through Friday.
- Senior Dial-A-Ride service to residents aged 65 and older. This is a curb to curb transportation service.
- Moorpark Disabled Paratransit service works like the Senior Dial-A-Ride with some additional service. It is available to any person qualified with a disability regardless of age. The Disabled Paratransit provides transportation throughout Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, and Camarillo.
- MCT On Demand Operates Monday-Friday from 6am-7pm and provides pick-up and drop-off services to locations within Moorpark. Rides are provided by request from the MCT On Demand App, and will pick you up within 15 minutes of a ride request.
ADA certified clients:
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a Federal Law that prohibits discrimination based on one's disability in regard to employment, public services, and transportation. The ADA guarantees people with disabilities equal access to public transportation. Public transportation providers cannot refuse service to those with disabilities.
During a PSPS event services will operate as normal

MCT On Demand: Open to all
Senior-Dial-A-Ride: Seniors must be 65 years of age or older.
Disabled Paratransit: To qualify, a person must become "ADA certified."
To become eligible to use any ADA transportation service in Ventura County, client must complete an application for ADA eligibility certification. The application requires client(or someone completing the form on client's behalf) to explain why applicant is unable to use the regular public bus service.

-Must have a temporary or permanent disability
-An application must be filled out describing their disability or condition that prevents them
from using a fixed bus route
-Application requires signature from healthcare provider.
-An in person assessment must be done once application is submitted

Application Process
Moorpark Senior Dial-A-Ride: A one-page application must be completed in order to enroll in the program.
For Paratransit program person must show ADA card.

for ADA certification application. Mail or fax completed application to VCTC's ADA Certification Coordinator using the contact information on the back of the form.
Once application is submitted to the ADA Certification Coordinator, client will be contacted for an in-person interview. During the interview client will be asked to answer some questions about their disability or condition. Photo ID will be taken for ADA Card/ID.

Fees
Moorpark Transit: $1.00 For students and free for adults 65 years of age and older, or those with disabilities. MCT On Demand: $1.00 each way, per person. Dial-A-Ride: $2.00 each way for travel within the City of Moorpark.
