Description
Provides a 30-day shelter for adults fleeing a domestic violence situation. Crisis counselors respond to the needs of the victim. Services include:
- Assistance with restraining orders
- Providing counseling referrals
- Locating safe housing
- Accompanying residents to court and police department
- Providing support during mediation in domestic violence issues
- Assisting with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) application for immigrant women
Please note: Domestic violence programs do not confirm or deny involvement of any particular person in DV/Sexual assault shelter services.
Eligibility
Must be an adult victim (18 years of age or older) fleeing an abusive, domestic violence situation.
