Description
Provides eligible residents of Oxnard with up to $57,000 in down payment assistance for the purchase of a home, including single-family residences, condominium units, cooperative units, or manufactured homes.
Assistance is subject to available funding.
Eligibility
Must be a resident of the City of Oxnard.
Must not exceed income limits (provided on website)
Must be a legal resident of the United States.
Must be a first-time homebuyer (Could not have owned a home for the past 3 years- mobile home owners are considered first-time buyers).
Must attend a homebuyer education course provided by a HUD certified agency.
The property must be a single-family residence, condominium unit, cooperative unit, or manufactured home that meets HUD's conventional requirements.
The property must be located in the City of Oxnard and must pass an inspection by the Division's inspector
