Descriptions
Provides county-wide comprehensive counseling services, therapy, and supportive services by licensed therapists. Focus areas are:
*Individual and family counseling for children and youth (birth to 21 years of age) with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
*Therapeutic services for children (birth to 18 years of age) who are victims of any kind of crime.
*Program to Evaluate and Treat Sexual Abuse (PETSA): Offers therapeutic treatment to children and families affected by child sexual abuse. Treatment is available in group, individual, and family therapy.
Eligibility
-Children from birth to 21 years of age with social/emotional/behavioral concerns, or children from birth to 18 years of age who are victims of any kind of crime
-Must be enrolled in MediCal and meet eligibility criteria for VCBH Specialty Mental Health Services
-PETSA Eligibility: Youth under 18 years of age who are child victims of sexual assault and their families
