Description
Provides trained staff who offer a short term break to parents raising children with mental health, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The goal is to allow parents to relax from their daily routine and help stabilize the home and family while minimizing crisis. Group activities for the youth provide an opportunity to:
- Socialize with peers
- Have positive role modeling from staff
- Learn new sports
Eligibility
Child who has mental health, emotional and behavioral disorders. Must:
-Be under 18 years of age.
-Referred through Ventura County Behavioral Health clinician.
