Description
Offers a 24-hour acute psychiatric hospital for patients who are a danger to self or others. Also for individuals who are gravely disabled because of a mental disorder. Provides evaluation, stabilization and treatment for the acute phase of serious mental illness. Collaboration with outpatient service providers for continuity of psychiatric care is also arranged.
Eligibility
Psychiatric Emergency clients ages 18-64 only.
Application Process
Visit the emergency room at VCMC first for evaluation/clearance.
