Descriptions
Empowers victims under the Violence Against Women ACT (V.A.W.A.) to file for permanent residency. This program is for immigrant women who have been abused by a married partner. Also offers protection for women under the U visa who have witnessed violence. Allows immigrant women to live without fear of deportation.
Eligibility
Must be an immigrant woman who has been abused by their partner or who has witnessed violence.
