Offers a one-time rent payment assistance to City of Ventura residents. Individuals can request assistance only once a year.
Eligibility
Individuals who would be homeless without this assistance. Must be a current resident of the city of Ventura.
Application Process
Call to schedule an intake appointment. Will meet with a case manager to determine extraordinary circumstance. Funds may be used one time in a 12-month period.
Only the individual who is at risk of homelessness may request the funds.(The landlord, property management, or mortgage company cannot request funds; however checks must be made out to those entities.) Only one member of the household may apply for funds.
