Description
Manages Medi-Cal benefits for Ventura County residents. GCHP also has a Disease Management team who works with members with certain conditions. Some outpatient mental health services for mild to moderate conditions are covered by GCHP. GCHP Member Services can assist with the following:
- To select or change your Primary Care Provider (PCP)
- To request a new ID card, member handbook or provider directory
- To check the status of an authorization
- To get help locating community resources
- To get timely appointments
- To get help when you receive a bill for medical services
- To file a complaint or a grievance
- To access interpreter services for medical appointments
Also offers Beacon Health Options for members with certain mental health conditions.
Eligibility
Must be Medi-Cal recipient to join Gold Coast Health Plan. Medi-Cal eligibility is determined by the Human Services Agency (HSA).
