Descriptions
Provides counseling for children, youth, and adults who have been victims of abuse and/or crime. This includes:
*Child Abuse Treatment (CHAT): Therapeutic services for children (up to age 18) who have been impacted by physical abuse or neglect, sexual abuse, bullying, family violence, teen dating violence, human trafficking, and other traumas. Counseling includes family members as appropriate.
*Program to Evaluate and Treat Sexual Abuse (PETSA): Offers therapeutic treatment to children affected by child sexual abuse. Individual and/or group therapy is offered to the child and to the family as appropriate.
*Trauma Recovery (21+): Individual counseling for adults (21+ years old) affected by domestic violence or human trafficking.
Eligibility
-Children from birth to 21 years of age with social/emotional/behavioral concerns, or children from birth to 18 years of age who are victims of any kind of crime
-Must be enrolled in MediCal
-PETSA Eligibility: Youth under 18 years of age who are child victims of sexual assault and their families
