Program: CRIME VICTIMS' ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CVAP)

Description

Provides support services to victims of violence or crime. This includes:

  • Court assistance
  • Crisis intervention
  • Obtaining restraining orders
  • Community resource referrals
  • Aids in property evidence return
  • Case dispositions or status information
  • 24-hour on-call for law enforcement support
  • Aids qualified victims in completing forms for California Victim Compensation Program

Eligibility

Must be a victim of violence or crime.
