Program: NEIGHBORHOODS FOR LEARNING

Offers free early learning, health and family strengthening resources to children from birth to 5 years of age. Services include:

Parent and Child Together (PACT)
Classes that provide information about child development and parenting practices to parents/caretakers. Provides a place for parents to connect with peers and experience social support.

Healthy Development Services
Connects parents to a variety of screenings and support services. Services include

• Health and basic needs screenings
• Developmental screenings
• Prenatal and postpartum screenings.

Case Coordination
Helps families connect to and utilize healthy development services.

Referrals
Refers clients to services such as housing, dental care, childcare, and CalFresh.

Parent Education and Classes
Gives parents the tools and information they need to become their child's first and most important teacher.

Parent Engagement and Empowerment
Encourages parent participation in program advisory groups and advocacy efforts.
