Provides benefit information and application assistance to veterans, their dependents, and survivors. Helps with the following:
- VA life insurance
- Memorial benefits
- Medical referrals and information
- California Tuition Fee Waiver Program
- Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)
- Claims to the VA for service-connected compensation
- Pension for wartime veterans with non-service-connected disabilities
- Mental Healthcare for Other than Honorable (OTH) Discharged Former Service Members
Eligibility
Must be a veteran or a dependent of a veteran.
Application Process
Appointment required for Ventura Veteran's Services Office and all field offices except locations, call for appointment. Visit during program hours for all other locations

Thousand Oaks- Senior Center - Walk-in hours: 2nd Tuesday, 1:30pm-4pm
Ventura - Veteran's Services Main Office- Oxnard- 8am-5pm, by appointment only
Camarillo - Gold Coast Veterans Foundation - Walk- in hours Wednesdays 8am -4pm
