Program: CAMARILLO AREA TRANSIT (CAT)-DIAL-A-RIDE (DAR)

Agency: CITY OF CAMARILLO

Description

CAT Dial-A-Ride (DAR) Service: Provides curb-to-curb transit service, similar to a taxi service. Service is available to the general public. Participants can go anywhere within the Camarillo city limits. DAR rides may be made for any purpose. This includes medical appointments, work, shopping, or other personal matters. Rides to and from school are the exception. Shopping bags are limited to three bags per rider.

DAR service is able to pick up users within 10 minutes of the requested time, as long as the reservation is made prior to the day of the requested ride. If a reservation is made on the same day as the planned travel, an agreed-upon pick-up time will be determined when the reservation is made.

Passengers are now able to make, view and cancel reservations through the RideCo online reservation. Please visit the RideCo website for reservation information. RideCo is also available as an app for iPhone and Android users, listed as Camarillo Area Transit.

Please note: All DAR buses are marked for identification. They are also equipped with two-way radio systems, wheelchair ramps, and tie-downs. More than one failure to cancel will remove you from making advance reservations

During a PSPS event services will operate as normal
