Description
Offers peer-to-peer support with facilitators assisting the group to learn more about brain injury and available services by meeting with others who are facing or have faced similar challenges. Groups include:
- gathering/sharing information
- sharing common needs and strengths
- providing a place to meet new friends and
- find new connections in the community
These groups are intended for brain injury survivors and their family/support system.
Eligibility
Must be a brain injury survivor (whether caused by trauma, stroke, tumor or illness) or a family member of a brain injury survivor.
