Program: YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES

Agency: VENTURA COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT (HCA-VCBH)

Description

Offers crisis hotline and intervention for psychiatric emergencies through mobile crisis team. Provides mental health assessment services to children and adolescents. Identifies their needs and helps develop individualized treatment plans. Services include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Psychiatric assessment and treatment
  • Medication monitoring
  • Psychological testing
  • Case management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Group treatment programs
  • School-based services

Eligibility

Children must be 18 years of age or younger.
