- Build confidence and enhance physical strength
- Maintains a routine to prevent agitation and other dementia-related behaviors
- Stimulates the brain and promotes cognitive engagement
- Maintain a safe environment
- Manage changing dementia-related behaviors
- Creates opportunities for social interaction
- Reduce the feelings of loneliness and depression
